Correction & Withdrawal Policies
Correction
If authors discover substantive errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they should promptly notify the editorial office at ipt@zycentre.com. Corrections will be considered under the following conditions:
-
Errors are factual and affect the interpretation or reliability of the article.
-
The correction does not involve differences of opinion or reinterpretation of data.
-
A correction request must be submitted by the corresponding author and approved by all co‑authors.
Corrections will be:
-
Clearly noted within the article, with the date of correction indicated.
-
Accompanied by a formal correction notice when the error is major.
-
Reflected in the article metadata and resubmitted to indexing platforms.
Minor corrections that do not impact the scientific validity will be documented via a footnote in the article, without a formal notice.
Withdrawal Policy
Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript before publication, but such requests must follow strict guidelines:
-
The withdrawal request must be made in writing by the corresponding author to ipt@zycentre.com, stating the reason for withdrawal and confirming agreement from all co‑authors.
-
If the manuscript is under peer review or in production, authors must provide valid justification and may be liable for any editorial or administrative costs incurred.
-
The decision to approve a withdrawal lies with the Editor‑in‑Chief or managing editor and is considered final.
Manuscripts that show signs of ethical misconduct or fraudulent behavior may be withdrawn unilaterally by the journal.
Retraction
Published articles may be retracted under circumstances such as:
-
Serious errors affecting the validity of the research.
-
Ethical violations, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or legal infringements.
-
Lack of action by authors to correct known issues.
Retraction procedures follow COPE Retraction Guidelines and include:
-
Publishing a separate retraction notice titled “Retraction: [Article Title]”.
-
Adding a “Retracted” watermark to the online article PDF.
-
Preserving the article record along with the reason and date for retraction to maintain transparency.
Note: If an article is retracted due to confirmed ethical violations or misconduct, any article processing charges paid will not be refunded.
Article Removal
In extremely rare cases, articles may be removed from the journal’s online archive. This will only occur if:
-
The article contains defamatory content, violates privacy or legal rights.
-
Legal obligations or court orders require removal.
-
Continued availability poses a serious risk (e.g., public health concerns or professional malpractice).
A removal notice will be posted in place of the article explaining the reason.
Expression of Concern
An Expression of Concern may be issued when:
-
There is inconclusive evidence of research or publication misconduct.
-
An investigation is underway, but results will be significantly delayed.
-
The reliability of the article is under question, but not yet confirmed.
All corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern are openly accessible and clearly labeled at the time of publication to ensure accountability and transparency.
