Language Service Studies in the Era of AI: Developments and Prospects

Abstract

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), language service studies present broad prospects in the age of AI. This paper first introduces the research developments in AI-powered language services both in the world and in China. Then, it explores the current applications of artificial intelligence in the field of language services, including technologies such as machine translation, speech recognition and synthesis, and large language models. Finally, the paper envisions the prospects for future language service research and offers relevant research recommendations.
